Absolute Executive Search are delighted to be partnered with an award winning Law Firm who are searching for an Associate to join their Private Client Team based in Surrey. You will have 5-8yrs PQE exposure within this field.

This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic Chambers and a Top ranked Private Client Team specialising in Tax, Trusts and Probate.

Key Duties:-

• To attend and contribute to Department/Group/team meetings.
• Maintain awareness of the legal market.
• To undertake Will drafting, estate administration, Lasting Power of Attorney, elements of trust work and, to a limited extent, Court of Protection work.
• To be responsible for ensuring achievement of own key financial targets, including fees, contribution and payment of debts and disbursements.
• To monitor own performance in relation to the number of live files, file closures, file openings, billing, time recording and to take appropriate action to ensure targets are met.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience of Private Client work essential to include Will drafting, estate administration, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, elements of trust work and Court of Protection work.
• Able to effectively manage their time to achieve client and internal deadlines.
• Understanding the importance of client care with an ability to deal with a wide range of clients with differing objectives.
• Able to work within a team, providing assistance and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
